Grief and bereavement are natural emotions we all experience when we go through a loss. People often think of grief when related to the death of a loved one. However, there are differing types of grief that can be experienced.
We may feel the effects of grief following any of the different types of losses we face in life. For example, it could be that you have recently divorced or ended a close friendship. You could also experience these emotions following the loss of your job.
The results of the emotional manifestations of grief can be wide ranging and may include great sadness, anger or regret, which could cause you to struggle.

Reiki has for many years supported people who have been through, or are going through, the truly devastating feelings of grief and bereavement.
The emotional trauma that comes with, either caring for a very unwell family member, or mourning their loss can be almost debilitating.
